Florals

I'm thrilled to share with you my collection of florals which celebrate nature, beauty, and love.​

These paintings are inspired by my grandmother's garden. She had a large property in Waterloo, Wellington and grew vegetables almost all year round.  The garden had large plum trees, old fashioned apple trees, and she grew the most exquisite roses, orchids, and lilies.  She supplemented her family's income by selling what she grew to the flower markets in Wellington, which in the day were taken into the city by horse and cart.

I remember grandma's garden with fondness.  I was a child with a great imagination and  losing myself in the wilderness of it brought me peace and joy.  I hope the melody of colour and composition in my paintings brings you joy also.  Thank you for supporting a living artist.
