Artist Statement
“Hallelujah” celebrates the  magnificence and beauty of flowers. Through colour and tone, my aim is to captivate viewers and evoke memory and story. Each piece invites closer discovery—from the delicate brushstrokes in the petals to the fine veins and botanical textures woven throughout the work.
 
Measures 1016 wide x 762 height mm (30 x 40 inches), is 3.5cm (1.4 inch) deep.  It is painted around the sides for continuation of the image to create depth. 
 
Over 12 layers to achieve the colour and depth in this painting, and a massive 320 hours to complete the work!  Yes, hand made just for you.

Materials: Premium Artist Oil paint and pastel is used to ensure that the colours are clean, bright and light-steadfast. The paints A and AA ratings aid in the longevity of the paints, and will last well over 75 years.  The canvas is made from 100% cotton with a tight, even weave and is coated with a quality gesso primer.
