Story
The little Ruru (Morepork) is hard to find amongst the bush, however I'm fortunate that I live close to Zealandia so that I can photograph them.  I've heard the call of the Ruru along the Hutt River, close to where I live, and I've also seen them perch on some of the cut logs there too.  
 
The painting measures 15cm square (6 x 6") x 3.5cm deep.
