This is my kiwi Mona Lisa.
When I took the reference photograph for this painting, I couldn’t quite decide whether Jack was gazing at me with pure curiosity — or subtly giving me the eye! There was something wonderfully ambiguous in his expression. As with the famous Mona Lisa, his eyes seem to follow you. Move around the painting and you’ll notice he continues to meet your gaze in the most intriguing way.
I absolutely adore him.
