Narrative: This kiwi bird is named Mali who was born in early 2025, and in Feb 2026 was released into the wild.  This painting captures a photo I took of Mali being cradled in the rangers hands as he was having his health check.
 
This painting is my tribute to the incredible work being done to protect our kiwi birds.
