Story
There is a little pocket of native bush with a river running through that is nestled in Wellington city (New Zealand), called Otari Wiltons Bush. The wonderful piwakawaka have abundant food down by the river, so even with my camera I was able to capture some images as references for this painting.  I love their little cheap cheap chatter and acrobatic moves - they are very entertaining.
 
Measures 15cm square (6 x 6") x 3.5cm deep. The artwork is ready to hang.
