A humourous, playful painting that reminds us about the pressing environmental issues we face. I’ve used satire, irony, symbols, a touch of the absurd, and a vibrant colour palette with an illustrative style to give one impression whilst implying another. This enables me to delight, criticize, present uncomfortable truths, evoke empathy, expose vulnerability, and provide a way of documenting this time.
I also believe there is hope. By seeking out community who support environmental initiatives we can make change.
