Painted with permission from Vince Burton, whose photographs I fell in love with when I was reading about the plight of our polar bears.  I have put my own mark on the painting by adding a touch of colour as a focal point and I have added human qualities so that viewers feel connected to the bears. By projecting human qualities my aim is to create interest and empathy for these beautiful animals, and I hope you love them as much as I do.
