Narrative: Choose Life is part of my wetland series that conveys the fight for survival.  Inspired by the natural environment of New Zealand, my artwork explores the tenacity of life in the face of environmental destruction.  I am dismayed at the loss of New Zealand’s wetlands. These are one of New Zealand’s most important habitats, however over the last 200 years they have almost been wiped out with fewer than 10% remaining.
